This piece explores the idea of a pagan Ritual as performance art. Even if one is skeptical as to the efficacy of magical activity outside the purely psychological realm, this ritual was performed under the constraints of performance art; where emotions and ideas were transmitted through multimedia elements, like visual projection and body movements. 
Magico Real is the art collective of Pana Li (Diana Castro) and Javier Molina. We make interactive light and sound altars, to explore shamanism, ritual, and identity, through performance, new media, and technology. Our environments are a mix of electronic textiles, handmade synthesizers and virtual portals that connect to psychedelic dimensions in Latin America. Get high on spring.
